First Avenger? I think not.

Hello again fabled readers, I don't know if you've been informed, but there is a movie coming out in the near future. This movie is called 'Captain America: The First Avenger'. And god damn it if this movie doesn't piss me off.

First off let me start by saying, whoever made the title for this movie needs to be slapped. Did you not do your homework at all? Or are you assuming that all of are us are as ignorant as you are? Captain America was not the first Avenger, in fact he wasn't even one of the original five members on the Avenger squad. The initial squad consisted of Ant-Man, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk and the Wasp. Captain America was later inducted into the group and given the credit for co founder of the Avengers in the Hulk's absence. Now I know some of you, you're going to say, "well maybe they just mean that he's the first Avenger to be introduced in the moives." And I would probably need to resist the urge to slap you, obvioulsy it's going to be a select few who actually state this and believe it, but for those of you who would post that let me fill you in. In the past years since Marvel comics has started to really make a splash with their films they have introduced almost the entire Avengers squad before even thinking about making a Captain America movie. The Hulk, for example. Or Iron Man. thor even has his own movie coming very soon. Captain America is far from the first Avenger announced.

Secondly, who's idea was it to cast Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America? Are you people just growing stupider by the minute? Some of you may not know this, but Chris Evans has already portrayed a popular role in the Marvel universe, he played Johnny Storm/The Human Torch in both of the Fantastic Four movies. What the hell were they thinking when they cast him as a second character in the Marvel universe? They have basically screwed themselves. They now can no longer bring the Fantastic Four and the Avengers together in any of their crossing storylines, which was a major plan in Marvel's repertoire, now that possibility has been completely irradicated. Granted they could replace one of the two characters with a new actor, but the Marvel universe has already had a very large turnover rate on their actors. The actor for the character Bruce Banner/ The Hulk, is being replaced for the second time, as Edward Norton is unwilling to work with Marvel Studios. And Peter Parker/ Spiderman is also being replaced for similar reasons.

Now, all of this being said, I do think it will be an awesome movie, and I definitely plan on seeing it. I'm a huge Marvel fan and they have not let me down yet, as far as the quality of their movies goes.

Okay, enough of my ramblings today, thanks for reading (if anyone actually does) and come back next time.

Oh yeah, one more thing off topic. To any of you bastards who post 'Official Trailer' in your fan made videos on youtube, I have only one thing to say. Stop. It isn't clever like you seem to think, it's annoying as hell for those of us who are actually looking for the real video.

Thanks again everyone.
